We both were good to go for our morning activities. You have all heard it by now: breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I believe it. We need fuel to get us going after sleeping for 6+ hours, and by fuel I don't mean a sugary donut or greasy hashbrowns. We need protein and a small amount of carbs, plus some fruit and/or veggies. A nice omelet with mushrooms and peppers can do the trick, or a small bowl of oatmeal with almonds and apples and milk.
